A frame shop has been in existence at this location for over thirty years, and it’s a pleasure being a part of and serving the Oak Park Community. I bought the store in 2005 with two objectives: One, we want you to have a positive and enjoyable shopping experience in the purchasing of art and framing, and two, I want to make available a broader range of fine art, including - but not limited to - original oils and water colors, as well as a unique collection of home décor.
I personally invite you to come in and spend some time in our Marion Street Gallery to enjoy the variety of artwork and home items we are pleased to offer you.

My experience in framing started twelve years ago at the tender age of nineteen. Since then, I have worked in every area of framing from production to sales. I am only in the shop during the weekends and evenings, as my day job teaching 3rd grade consumes my daylight hours. However, I will gladly spend an afternoon discussing your piece of art and assisting you in choosing appropriate – and, of course - fabulous framing.

I am happy to be able to work in my two favorite fields which I have studied for years: literature and art. Although I have my own business as a literary editor – an oft-times solitary pursuit - I work at Kelley Frame Company part time to satisfy my need to work with people and art. I have 7 years of framing experience that includes assembly, consultation, and sales. I enjoy taking the time to discuss your art work and what it means to you. I look forward to creating with you a memorable and unique piece through the application of framing techniques. If you are pressed for time, just leave your artwork with me; you can be sure I’ll take the best care of it and give it the appropriate framing it deserves.

I have recently moved to Oak Park from central Illinois where I was a picture framer for 15 years. I have been a part of the Kelley Frame Company staff for almost a year, but I have been an artist all of my life. I use my artistic talents when choosing framing treatments for customers. In addition to excellent customer service, I specialize in shadow boxes and decorative matting – multiple openings, French lines, mat carving, decorative and inlayed corners, hand painted wrapped bevels, and mats. I enjoy working with customers and look forward to contributing my creative talents to your framing wishes.

I am the production manager at Kelley Frame Company, otherwise known as “the back-room guy.” I am responsible for cutting all of the mats, glass, frames, and dry mounting your artwork. I see to it that all of your materials are ordered and cut and ready to be assembled on time. You will rarely see me at the shop because I work the graveyard shift, which allows me to be at home with my daughter during the day.

I am the newest addition to the Kelley Frame Company staff. I came aboard for the summer and plan to return during the holidays. I am responsible for fitting and prepping the custom and gallery artwork. When I am not working at the frame shop I am busy earning my bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois.
